FUNDRAISING & PARTNERSHIPS SPECIALIST
We are seeking an experienced & motivated Fundraising Specialist with Philanthropic (and Corporate) partnership experience. The goal is to develop an aspirational, yet practical strategy to identify, engage, manage and grow new income streams and partnerships to improve our financial viability.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with DPM Staff, and collaborate with other Specialists (Impact Specialist, Marketing & Communications Specialist) to align messaging and ensure cohesion.
Conduct strategic review of DPM’s current fundraising model, including past and present partnerships.
Assess historical engagements and current assets (documents, channels, networks, reputation).
Develop/deliver new Fundraising & Partnerships Engagement Strategy appropriate to a small NGO including:
Identify new and relevant fundraising/philanthropic/corporate funding opportunities aligned with DPM’s mission, deliverables and impact.
Strategies for targeting and securing potential partners
Strategies for managing and strengthening funding relationships
List of priority prospective funders, with rationale and engagement plans
Implementation Plan.
Align with newly developed Impact Story messaging
Deliverables:
Strategic Review with recommendations.
Philanthropic/Corporate Engagement Strategy.
Minimum 5 warm introductions or leads.
Fee: $15,000
Schedule (TBC upon appointment – flexible)
July: Initial briefings
August: Round Table workshop with DPM Team and collaborates
August: Asset review and strategy development.
September - Oct: Present draft strategy, feedback, Final report and delivery of engagement plan.
NOTE – In the essence of collaboration we are open to adjusting priorities, schedules and workflows, within the wider objectives the Strategy Development process. All work must be completed by November at latest.
